Peter Massaquoi is an entrepreneur based in New Jersey, United States of America. He was born on December 16, 1986 in Liberia, West Africa from the union of Mr. Joseph and Yassah Massaquoi.
Mr. Massaquoi grew up in Monrovia, Liberia’s capital. He has an interest in education and journalism. He is married to Jerusha Jessie Massaquoi.
He started his Elementary and Primary Education in 1996 at the Assembly Of God Mission School in Paynesville, Monrovia-Liberia but dropped from school for a few years due to the brutal civil conflict that devastated his entire country (Liberia).
After years of civil unrest, he continued his education in 2003 at the Kalita High School in Paynesville where he successfully completed both junior and senior courses. In 2008, he obtained a high school diploma along with a certificate from the West African Examination Council.
In 2005, his interest in journalism led him to enroll at the Ambassador George Weah School of Vocational Education where he obtained a certificate in journalism after 10 months of intensive training. In 2016, he obtained a Bachelor of Sciences Degree with a Business Administration Major from Berkeley College Middlesex County.
Mr. Massaquoi has worked with many institutions in Liberia and United States of America. Using what he learned from his experiences, he decided to open his own insurance agency, which is the business he effectively runs today.
His tasks include managing the daily activities of his staff and other business management related activities. Additionally, he interviews prospective clients to fully grasp their current insurance and financial needs as well as to discuss any existing coverage.
He promotes his agency products to customers in three ways: in person, on the phone, and in writing. Additionally, he handles follow-ups with clients regarding online information requests.
He also has a productive relationship with car dealers, loan processors, and other business partners in the community.
